Any of our patients seek augmentation of the gluteal area, also known as the buttocks. What happens over time is when patients get older, they tend to notice that their butt or gluteal area will get flatter. As the muscle and fat atrophies, one will notice sagging of this area. This can be difficult for patients especially patients who are trying to wear swimsuits, clothes, and pants. While there are many options for augmenting the gluteal area. One of our favorites is the use of Sculptra.
Sculptura has the advantage of being able to provide a nonsurgical, noninvasive approach to this area. This procedure is done conveniently and relatively painlessly in the office using a variety of, of Sculptra vials. Most patients do a series of one to four injections. And this product is used because it can last up to four years.
Oftentimes, placing Sculptra can redefine someone’s approach to looking at the gluteal area. This will provide more collagen and actually more volumetric amount to this area. When we do Sculptura glutes for our patients from the north shore, we usually mark the patient standing up. This is considered the most important view for our patients. As we can see, what is the area of concern and most patients’ interactions with others in the outside world are gonna be while standing

WHAT IS SCULPTRA?

WHERE SCULPTRA CAN BE USED?
Sculptra is typically used on areas of the face, including the cheeks, temples, nasolabial folds (smile lines), and chin. It can also be used to address volume loss in the hands.
HHOW MANY SESSIONS ARE NEEDED?
The number of Sculptra sessions required can vary depending on individual factors such as the degree of volume loss and desired results. Typically, 2 to 3 sessions are recommended, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart, for optimal results.
ARE SCULPTRA INJECTIONS PAINFUL?
Sculptra injections are generally well-tolerated. A local anesthetic or numbing cream is often applied to minimize any discomfort during the procedure. Some patients may experience mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site, but these effects usually subside within a few days.
HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECT?
