CO2 Laser treatments are the industry standard for treating skin issues such as dark spots, wrinkles, fine lines, acne scarring etc. However, patients with a darker skin tone such as the types that are a Fitzpatrick 4 or 5, often did not have the option of a CO2 laser.

WHAT IS THE RECOVERY TIME AFTER A COOLPEEL TREATMENT?
There is virtually no downtime after a CoolPeel treatment. Patients often go back to their daily routines the same day. Redness after treatment is typical, similar to a light sunburn, but will go away after a day or two.

Most patients well -tolerate the treatment.. The treatment is generally comfortable, and the sensation is often described as a series of warm tingles. A topical anesthetic may be applied to the skin before the procedure for more comfort.
