Dr. Anil Shah brought his practice from New York City to Chicago in 2008. And when he did, he saw a market that was missing high level plastic surgery. Many of the doctors in the Chicagoland area used to, and still do, use mallets and outdated techniques when doing rhinoplasty, lifting faces, and lifting necks. Dr. Shah wanted to bring state-of-the-art surgical techniques to Chicago and has done so since 2008. As his practice grew, many patients locally, including the North Shore area, sought Dr. Shah and his groundbreaking techniques. One of the biggest requests from his patients’ wishlists was to put an office in the North Shore area. Based on patients feedback, the practice listened and now have an office conveniently looked in the heart of Winnetka.
Dr. Anil Shah himself loves the North Shore. He loves to play, bike, and hike along this beautiful area. Many of our patients and friends live here. And so we thought it would be great to combine everything that our patients have grown to love and put those practices into a new office location. It has been our dream to have an office on Green Bay Road since we arrived in Chicago in 2008. When there was an opportunity for us to do so, we moved forward full steam ahead.
A variety of our providers go back and forth between our office locations. We look forward to serving you, our patients, in our new location in the North Shore area, providing the same high level of care present in our downtown Chicago office.
Everyone of our injectors undergoes extensive training in fillers and botox. Our leading physicians are aesthetic pioneers Dr. Anil Shah and Dr. Sameea Chughtai who have literally reshaped the industry with both featured in a variety of press including Elle, WGN, Fox, Vogue and many others.
At most medical spas, the owner can be a non-core physician which can be a pediatrician, emergency room physician, or not even a doctor at all. The injectors get little to no training and put patients at serious risk.
Dr. Shah and Dr. Chughtai have patients who travel from the North Shore, including Highland Park, Winnetka, Wilmette, Kenilworth, Glencoe, Northbrook and Glenview, to the downtown Chicago office every day. With the post-Covid world, more and more of our patients voiced that they wished we had an office presence in the North Shore.
There are currently a few medical spas in the North Shore, but we frequently see issues from other medical spas in terms of safety protocol and practices. We have made it a mission to raise the bar of aesthetic services in the North Shore. Aesthetic Skin is deeply committed to ensuring the safety of all patients and we uphold stringent safety protocols that align with the latest industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Some of our patients used to travel to the West Coast or New York for surgery or injectables but now choose Aesthetic Skin due to our high level of service and innovative approaches. Dr. Anil Shah’s rhinoplasty and 5 layer neck are world renowned, yet not everyone in the North Shore is aware (hence the need for a North Shore office). We also have incredible injectors who treat at the highest levels, offering injectable and noninvasive treatments.
Aside from poor training, most medical spas fail at delivering the full spectrum of aesthetic services. We occasionally see patients who are receiving too much filler and the simple reason is that the medical spa has no other treatment options. We offer the full spectrum of service, which allows us to treat patients with surgical solutions when necessary.
