Not necessarily. It depends on which type of laser treatment you get. Some laser treatments require downtime for up to a week while others have almost no recovery time. Typically, laser treatments require more downtime than light-based treatments.

Typically, summer is difficult for patients to get laser treatment because the sun is out and most patients want to be outside enjoying the nice weather.
